The LOOP Trak 10'6" #2/3 Twin Tip is a specialised fly rod
designed for modern Euro nymphing techniques. Its 10'6" length provides greater
reach, more precise drift control and easier direct contact with the nymphs in
slow, medium and faster currents.
Model 23106 is the lightest tactical rod in the Trak series. It combines a sensitive
#2/3 line rating, a low weight of 107 g and a
Medium Fast action. The result is a responsive rod with precise
rig control and enough reserve for fighting grayling and trout on fine tippets.

Two tips for adjustable sensitivity
The Twin Tip system allows the rod's sensitivity to be adapted
to current fishing conditions without changing the complete outfit. By switching
the tip, the angler can choose a more delicate response for lighter nymphs, slower
water and cautious fish, or a firmer response for heavier rigs and stronger currents.
Both tips belong to the same four-piece rod. The package therefore includes the
butt section, two middle sections and two alternative tip sections, with only one
tip used at a time.
Drift control in different current speeds
The longer blank helps guide the nymphs along a more natural path, reduce unwanted
leader sag and react more quickly to changes in drift direction or speed. It also
makes it easier to work across different current seams while maintaining direct
contact with the rig at greater distance.
The Medium Fast action provides the sensitivity required to detect subtle takes
without making the rod unnecessarily soft. The blank responds precisely during
the cast and hook set, then works progressively during the fight to help protect
fine tippets.
Durable components for regular use
The carbon fibre construction is complemented by an ergonomically contoured AAA
cork handle, providing a comfortable and stable grip during long days on the river.
The reel seat with a carbon insert combines low weight with the durability required
for regular fishing.
Stainless steel snake guides and low-friction stripping guides support smooth line
movement. The Zirconia insert in the stripping guide reduces friction in the most
heavily loaded section and contributes to smooth handling of both fly line and leader.
