The Fly V2 is made in Montebelluna, Italy – a region regarded as one of the world's most important centres for technical and outdoor footwear manufacturing. Developed in cooperation with dedicated fly anglers, these boots are designed to handle everything from large lowland rivers to fast-flowing mountain streams.

Wet Grip Sole Designed for Slippery Riverbeds

The most significant innovation of the Fly V2 is its Wet Grip sole. It was specifically developed for use in and around water. The combination of rubber, felt and studs delivers outstanding grip on wet rocks, algae-covered surfaces and challenging wading terrain.

The specially developed rubber compound is exceptionally flexible, highly resistant to wear and maintains its performance across a wide temperature range. The sole naturally adapts to the surface beneath your feet, increasing contact area with every step and providing greater stability and confidence while wading.

All-Day Comfort

The Fly V2 combines a high level of protection with exceptional long-term comfort. Its durable Cordura® and water-repellent upper is paired with a dual-density polyurethane midsole that helps absorb impacts and reduces fatigue during long days on the water.

Stainless steel Easy Roller hooks minimise friction and allow the boot to be tightened evenly from top to bottom. A reinforced rubber toe cap and protective rubber rand shield the boot from impacts and abrasion when moving through rocky environments.

Built for Years of Use

During extensive field testing, the Fly V2 endured more than 400 hours of intensive use. Once the felt eventually wore down, only the felt section required replacement before the boots were ready for many more hours on the water. This focus on durability, serviceability and long-term performance is what sets Andrew apart from many mass-produced alternatives.
