Sealed drag for freshwater and saltwater
The Q Reel drag system is protected by Marine Grade seals. Its smooth engagement
and consistent braking performance help protect the leader during sudden runs
while providing dependable control throughout the fight.
Salt-tolerant and corrosion-resistant construction makes the reel suitable
for rivers, lakes and saltwater fly fishing. After contact with saltwater,
the reel should be rinsed with clean freshwater and allowed to dry thoroughly.
Large-arbour V-shaped spool
The large spool diameter enables rapid line retrieval and helps reduce line
memory and coiling. Its V-shaped profile provides practical distribution of
fly line and backing while maintaining the required capacity.
The ergonomically shaped handle provides a secure and comfortable grip throughout
long fishing sessions. A large drag adjustment knob allows precise control even
in wet or cold conditions.
Four sizes for different fishing applications
The smallest Q 4/6 is balanced for trout fishing on rivers
and still waters. The Q 6/8 is a versatile size for larger
trout, sea trout and lighter salmon outfits.
The Q 7/9 provides increased capacity and drag reserve for
powerful fish, salmon and steelhead. The largest Q 8/11 is
primarily intended for two-handed rods, heavier fly lines and situations where
backing capacity and stable fish control are essential.
