Long-lasting flotation for dry flies
Hotfly Float Shield Powder Pro 30 ml is a powder floatant designed to treat and protect dry flies. It creates a water-repellent layer on fly-tying materials, helping the fly stay on the surface longer while maintaining a natural presentation.
For best results, apply the powder to a dry fly before fishing. There is no need to cut the fly off the leader – simply place it in the container, close the lid and shake for a few seconds. Blow off any excess powder or remove it with a few false casts.
Suitable for CDC flies
Float Shield Powder Pro is also suitable for delicate CDC flies. The dry powder does not mat the fine CDC fibres and helps preserve the properties that give the material its natural appearance and excellent flotation.
The wide container opening makes it easy to treat even bulkier patterns. This product is intended for treating flies and improving flotation – it is not a desiccant for already waterlogged flies. For drying a wet fly, Hotfly Float Dry Powder Pro is the appropriate choice.
