WHITING Brahma Hen Cape is a full hen neck cape for tiers who want soft fibers, natural movement in the water and distinctive feather markings. Brahma hen feathers are known for their contrasting pattern, and in this range the underlying Badger pattern is dyed in four attractive shades.
Hen feathers are softer than traditional rooster hackle, so they open and pulse naturally when the fly moves through the water. They are particularly effective for soft-hackle wet flies, nymphs, emergers, collars and legs. Larger feathers can also be used for streamers and other traditional patterns.
