HENDS MOP Chenille UV Sensitive is a soft 3 mm chenille designed primarily for creating bodies on MOP flies. The material combines coloured fibres, flat iridescent elements and UV-sensitive components, so its appearance changes noticeably under UV light.

Use
For MOP flies, the chenille is tied in as a free-moving body extending away from the hook. This keeps the body mobile in the water. The material can also be used conventionally by wrapping it around the hook shank for lures, Woolly Buggers, streamers and other patterns.
Material and UV effect
The chenille combines coloured supporting fibres, flat iridescent elements and UV-sensitive components. Its appearance in normal light can therefore differ significantly from its appearance under UV light. The product photos show both appearances for each variant.
