Action vs. Power
Compared to other Echo rods, the Carbon XL sits in the middle of the spectrum – medium action / mid power. It is delicate enough to protect fine tippets when targeting grayling, yet has the backbone to handle larger fish.
Care instructions
After each use in saltwater, rinse the rod with fresh water, clean the ferrules and the metal parts of the reel seat. Occasionally lubricate the threads with a drop of oil, and apply paraffin wax on the ferrules if needed for a smooth fit.
