Fly tying feathers
Feathers are among the most important natural fly tying materials. They are used for wings, tails, legs, hackles, bodies and other mobile parts of a fly. This collection includes feathers for dry flies, nymphs, wet flies and streamers.
Feathers by origin
Origin is an important factor when choosing fly tying feathers. Hen and rooster feathers are widely used for hackles and classic patterns, pheasant feathers for nymph tails and bodies, duck feathers and CDC for dry flies, peacock feathers for natural sheen, and turkey feathers for larger wings and streamer patterns.
Feathers for dry flies, nymphs and streamers
Fine and buoyant feathers work well for dry flies, softer feathers for wet flies and nymphs, and longer mobile fibres for streamers and leech patterns. Use the available filters to narrow the selection by colour effect, origin and material use.
