LOOP Trak Single-Hand #7 is available in two configurations – 9'6" #7 (Trak 796) and 10'0" #7 (Trak 7100). Both belong to the same TRAK single-hand family and #7 line class, but each emphasizes a slightly different side of fishing larger water.
The Trak 796 is intended primarily for situations that call for larger flies and both floating and sinking lines. LOOP positions it for migratory and hard-fighting fish including salmon, steelhead, trout and char.
The longer Trak 7100 is recommended by LOOP for bomber techniques, sea trout fishing and modern stillwater techniques. Its blank flex is structured to provide a deeper power reserve for longer casts without compromising sensitivity on the take.

10'0" #7 – Trak 7100: adds reach and a deeper power reserve for longer casts. LOOP explicitly links this model with modern stillwater techniques, making it an interesting option on larger lakes and reservoirs where line control at distance matters.
From large rivers to modern stillwater fishing
The #7 line class provides useful reserve in wind, when working with larger flies and when fighting strong fish. The shorter 796 is a natural choice for larger rivers, while the 7100 extends the concept toward longer casts and modern stillwater fishing.
