Hends Crimped Minnow Hair is a modern synthetic material developed specifically for tying streamers of all sizes – from smaller trout patterns to large pike flies.
Its greatest strength lies in the crimped fibers, which give streamers natural volume without the need for excessive material. Thanks to this, the fly visibly “pulsates” in the water, works even at slow retrieves, and looks more lifelike than straight synthetics.
The fiber is medium thickness, slightly glossy, and very easy to work with when layering, shaping, and trimming. At the same time, it does not absorb water, meaning the streamer remains light and stable even when used with lighter rods and thinner lines.
