Hends BL599 – universal barbless fly hook
Hends BL599 is a versatile barbless fly hook inspired by the shape of the Tiemco 2499. Its modern geometry, short shank and wide gape make it a very popular all-round pattern. A chemically sharpened point with a slight upward bend and forged Hi-Carbon Steel construction provide reliable hook-ups and high strength even when playing larger fish.
The hook is exceptionally versatile and suitable for tying nymphs, wet flies, scuds, pupae and lures, as well as Klinkhammer-style dry flies. The Black Nickel finish adds corrosion resistance and a clean appearance. Supplied in packs of 25, it is popular with fly tyers for its excellent price-to-performance ratio.
