A.Jensen VECTOR Full Intermediate is a full intermediate fly line designed for situations where you need to cast far and present the fly just below the surface or throughout the upper water column. It is an excellent choice for lake fishing, coastal fly fishing, and streamer applications, especially when you want to reduce surface disturbance and keep the line under the surface.

The VECTOR series is built with one clear goal in mind – to make long casting easier. The head loads the rod quickly, helping all casters, especially less experienced anglers, and the extra thin running line supports better shoot and longer casts. The taper also turns over bigger flies, streamers, and lures with ease when distance matters.

The Full Intermediate version features a semi-clear finish, meaning a clear coating over a white braided dacron core. The entire line, including the running line, is intermediate, so it sinks slowly and evenly. This makes it especially useful in clear water, when you want the line to go below surface debris or when you want to avoid the visible “herringbone” effect that floating lines often create on the surface.

Why Full Intermediate works so well on the water

When fishing clear water, lakes, or coastal areas, a full intermediate line helps keep the setup below the surface with less visual disturbance. Compared to a floating line, it does not leave a strong visible surface track and can slip below minor debris, chop, and surface clutter more naturally.
