This model is sold out and has been discontinued. It has been replaced by the new-generation Vision Grand Daddy+, which builds on the original Grand Daddy with an updated design for predator fishing and large streamers.
Vision Grand Daddy Fly Line
The Grand Daddy fly lines are the direct successors of the legendary Big Daddy model from Vision. This line features an 8.5 m head with a shortened front taper and an extended rear taper, significantly improving turnover and casting of large, wind-resistant flies.
Thanks to its construction, the line is ideal for use from a boat or belly boat, where quick response and accuracy are often required. The low-stretch braided core ensures better energy transfer and sensitivity when detecting takes. The coating is very slick and supple, remaining memory-free even in colder conditions. Welded loops on both ends make it easy to attach both backing and leaders.
Available in floating, intermediate, and sinking versions down to Sink7.
