Whiting Farms CDL Predator Pack Grizzly Pardo – Red & Yellow is a selection of longer Coq de Leon feathers designed primarily for tying larger streamers and predator flies. The feathers feature long, stiff and durable fibres that hold their shape well while creating a strong and distinctive fly profile.
They are most commonly used for tails, wings and other elongated parts of streamers, where a combination of strength, length and natural movement in the water is required. They are suitable for baitfish patterns, streamers for pike and other predatory fish, as well as larger freshwater and saltwater flies.
The Red & Yellow version combines two striking colour groups that can be used separately or together in a single pattern. The contrast between red and yellow is particularly useful when a fly needs to create a strong visual trigger.
